To be honest, contouring isn’t my strong point when it comes to applying my daily makeup. I do wear it for work, but on days off it’s usually just light coverage foundation, some mascara and gloss. I do however think these duo sticks are pretty cool with their variety of shades, shimmer in the highlighter shades and ease of blending.

Available in Dark, Medium and Light from top to bottom pictured above. 

Even though I do tan very easily, I am still pretty white as I don’t go out in the sun that often. So my preferred stick here that I use the most is the ‘Light’ shade duo stick.

The darker end is obviously for contouring your face. I apply just a small amount lightly and blend it in with my finger to create some definition just underneath my cheek bones. The shade isn’t too hard that it’s hard to blend nor is it soft of crumbly. So they are pretty easy to work with. 

On the opposite end is your highlighting shade. Unlike the other end this has a subtle fine shimmer throughout and is super pretty applied at the top of the cheek bones.

Obviously the darker your skin tone the darker shade variety would most likely suit you. Alternatively if you like your makeup more dramatic then as you can see from my swatch image, you can really get a deep dark shade going on the more you apply and build up the shades. They are great like that!
